Wondering if this is for you?

If you’ve been thinking about starting a workout routine but keep putting it off, you’re not alone—and you’re not wrong for feeling that way.

At CT Workout, we talk to people every single week who are curious, a little nervous, and unsure if they’re ready to make that first move.

But the truth is, the only thing separating those who make progress from those who stay stuck is the decision to begin—regardless of age, fitness level, or past experiences.

You might be wondering if it’s too late to start working out in your 40s, 50s, or even 60s.

The answer? Absolutely not.

Many of our most successful members are in that exact age group—and they’re stronger, more confident, and healthier now than they were 10 or 15 years ago.

The key wasn’t being young. The key was getting started and sticking with it.

We often hear, “I haven’t worked out in years. Is that a problem?”

Not even close. That’s the norm, not the exception.

Most people come to us with life experience, a busy schedule, and a body that’s been through some stuff.

That’s why we ease you in at your own pace. No pressure. No judgment. Just progress.

It’s also completely normal to worry about feeling out of place.

Walking into a new gym can feel intimidating, especially if you haven’t done it in a while—or ever.

But CT Workout isn’t your typical gym. It’s a welcoming, down-to-earth space full of real people who care more about feeling better than looking perfect.

Everyone here is working on something, and we all remember what it was like to be the new person.

Now, let’s talk about what really holds people back.

There are so many common objections, and it’s important to acknowledge them—because they’re valid, but it’s even more important to look at them with a fresh perspective:

Maybe you think, “I’m too out of shape.” That’s exactly why you should start.

Or “I don’t want to get hurt.” We design safe, effective programs with modifications, and our coaches guide you every step of the way.

You might feel, “I’m too busy.” But carving out just a few hours a week can actually give you more energy and focus for everything else in your life.

And if the thought is, “I’m too tired,” movement will actually help fight that fatigue. The more you move, the more energized you’ll feel.

“I’m too embarrassed” comes up a lot. But the truth is, everyone starts somewhere. No one is watching you—they’re focused on their own journey.

Some worry, “I have bad knees/back/shoulders.” Our team is trained to work with your body, not against it. We customize what you need.

“What if I fail?” Then you try again. Progress isn’t linear—but it’s always worth it.

“Nothing’s worked before.” Maybe this time will be different—because we’ll do it together, with structure and support.

“It’s too expensive.” Think of it as an investment in your health—something that will pay off in energy, confidence, and fewer doctor visits.

“I don’t like the gym.” Good. We’re not a typical gym. We’re a coaching facility with heart, community, and accountability.

“I don’t know what to do.” That’s our job, not yours. We guide you through every workout.

“I’m scared of being the worst one there.” Everyone felt like that in the beginning—and now they’re cheering on the next new person.

“I hate cardio.” Great. We believe strength training should be the foundation. We’ll help you move in a way you enjoy.

“I’ll go when I lose weight first.” Backwards thinking. You come to the gym to lose the weight—not the other way around.

“My schedule is unpredictable.” We offer flexible options. If you can show up, we can work with you.

“I travel too much.” We’ll help you build habits that work on the road and at home.

“I’ve tried everything.” You haven’t tried this—with coaches who care and a community that supports you.

“I’m too shy.” You’ll feel welcomed, not singled out. We get to know your name, not your insecurities.

“I don’t want to feel sore.” A little soreness is normal. Pain is not. We help you recover and build strength over time.

And finally, “I’m not ready.” That’s the one that keeps most people stuck. But waiting won’t make it easier. Starting will.

So if you’ve been waiting for the “right time,” maybe this is it. Maybe now is the moment you decide to put yourself first—for your energy, your health, your confidence, and your future.

We’d love to help you take that first step—you might just enjoy it more than you think.
