If you’re visiting our website for the first time, you may be wondering, “What exactly do you do?” Some people think we’re a traditional gym where you pay a monthly fee and work out on your own. Others assume we’re a bootcamp where everyone does the same workout, or that we’re only for athletes. We’re none of those things. At CT Workout, we help adults, especially men and women over 40, lose weight, build strength, improve their health and feel better through professionally coached programs designed to meet you where you are. You don’t have to figure it out alone.
Our two programs at a glance
| Feature | Semi-Private Personal Training | Group Training |
|---|---|---|
| Coach-to-member ratio | Up to 6 members per coach | Coach-led class |
| Workout | Your own individualized program | Same format for everyone, scaled to your level |
| Assessment | InBody plus a movement assessment | Coach demonstrates options for each level |
| Best for | Injuries, technique help, personalized progress | Energy, variety, fat loss and strength |
| Included | Unlimited group training | Coached group sessions |
Option 1: Semi-private personal training
This is our most personalized program. Each coach works with up to six clients at a time, but every person follows their own individualized program. No two members are doing the exact same workout. Before your first workout, we complete a comprehensive assessment:
From there we create a program that starts at your current level and progresses as you improve, whether your goal is losing weight, getting stronger, reducing joint pain, improving balance or preparing for an activity. Your coach teaches, encourages, corrects technique and modifies exercises in every session.

Option 2: Group training
In group training, everyone follows the same workout format for the day, but that doesn’t mean everyone does the exact same exercise. Every workout starts with a coach-led warm-up. Then your coach explains and demonstrates each exercise and shows multiple versions.
| Level | Squat example |
|---|---|
| Beginner | Bodyweight squat to a box |
| Intermediate | Goblet squat |
| Stronger | Heavier kettlebells |
| Advanced | A more challenging variation |
Everyone practices the same movement pattern at the level that’s right for them, so beginners and experienced exercisers can train together. Group training helps you burn fat, build muscle, increase strength and endurance, move better and stay consistent. It’s fun, energetic and perfect if you enjoy working out with others. We meet you where you are
Some members have never exercised; others are returning after years away; others want to take their fitness to the next level. Many come to us with bad knees, back pain, arthritis, weight-loss goals, prediabetes, high blood pressure or low energy. Our job is to meet you there, not judge you for it.
“Love this business model of small group personal training… Can’t believe how noticeably stronger I am after just a few months.”
